Erlangen

The Universitätsklinikum Erlangen was founded in 1815. It is located in the south of Germany (Bavaria) and is part of the “Europäische Metropolregion Nürnberg” (European Metropolitan Region Nuremberg). The 7 Tesla MRI is mainly used by the MRI labs at the Institutes of Radiology and Neuroradiology. The research is embedded within the strong research priority "Engineering Transformative Healthcare" of Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. There are close collaborations with researchers from data science, machine learning, and electrical engineering, as well as with Siemens Healthineers.
